Islam is built upon five: to worship Allah and to disbelieve in what is worshiped besides him, to establish prayer, to give charity, to perform Hajj pilgrimage to the House, and to fast the month of Ramadan.
And those they invoke other than Allah create nothing, and they [themselves] are created.
This is the creation of Allah. So show Me that which those (whom you worship) besides Him have created. Nay, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrongdoers and those who do not believe in the Oneness of Allah) are in plain error.” [Luqman 31:11]
Belief in the afterlife is often referred to in conjunction with belief in ALLAH, as in the expression: ‘If you believe in ALLAH and the Last Day’. Believers are frequently reminded in the Quran, ‘Be mindful of ALLAH and know that you shall meet Him’ (Quran 2:233)
We created you all from a single man and a single woman, and made you into races and tribes so that you should recognize one another. In ALLAH’s eyes, the most honored of you are the ones most mindful of Him: ALLAH is all knowing, all aware” (49:13).
Allah states that “He created everything then destined for it its destiny” (25:2), on other hand states: We have shown him the way (now it is left to him) whether he becomes one who gratefully accepts or becomes one who ungratefully rejects (it). (76:3)
